This subcommittee solicits papers with a primary focus on: Advances in group IV and related compatible materials and device fabrication technologies; Material properties and optical interactions; Physics of materials, materials growth and related materials processing; Advances in heteroepitaxy and hybrid bonding technologies; Demonstration of novel material properties for device applications; Nanocrystals and nano-engineered materials, porous Si; Integration of rare-earth and other impurities, defect states.
