Photonic Devices and Nanophotonics

This subcommittee solicits papers with a primary focus on: Design, demonstration, or performance of waveguides and waveguide devices, filters, resonator and grating devices, polarization and dispersion control components, photonic crystals and photonic crystal-based functionality in group IV and related compatible materials; integration of these elements into sensors and related sensing technologies; fiber to waveguide coupling devices; Applications to communications, signal processing, microwave photonics, sensors, photovoltaic and quantum information.
