Nonlinear Fiber Optics
This meeting is being organized to bring together researchers working in different areas of nonlinear fiber optics, in order to promote awareness, cross-fertilization via exchange of ideas and techniques, and progress toward applications.
To that end we will solicit invited and contributed papers on all aspects of nonlinear fiber optics, These include but are not limited to: theory; demonstrations; applications to optical communications: high-speed sampling, demultiplexing, regeneration; high-power devices; short-pulse devices; quantum properties and applications in quantum communications; visible devices; supercontinuum generation, novel nonlinear fibers; suppression of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS); distributed amplification; phase-sensitive amplification for noise-free gain; Raman amplifiers and lasers; Brillouin lasers; soliton lasers and other pulsed sources; fiber OPAs and OPOs; commercial applications; etc.
